In the 1940s Mrs. J.B. Noland sent a Bible from the late 1700s to my grandfather's aunt. My grandfather some how ended up with the book. He passed away last year and I found the book inside a wooden box inside his basement. He never mentioned having the Bible.
On two pages are hand written names and dates of connected familes. The families all connect for me to Jesse J. Skinner (my gg grandfather who traveled from his brithplace of Madison County to McLean County, IL). His mother was Millie Wilson (related to Cobbs and Oldhams) and his grandmother Miriam/Marium Noland.
Anyway..I have passed on these images now and then and will do so to anyone who aks. I think the original owner of this Bible was Ralph Wilson from Virginia. The first page says "Ralph..His Hymn"
