In the 1860 Lyon County KY census, Rosana GRAY, age 66, is living with Thomas J Lee, 35, his wife Minerva J, age 31 and their children Francis M, 4, John E, 10/12. It shows that Thomas and Minerva were born in Illinois. Who are these Lee's?
According to "Lyon Co KY Birth Records 1853-1862" by Simmons:
Lee, John E born to Thos. L Lee and Maria L Ellis 19 Sep 1859. In this census, it shows that Rosanna has 500 acres. Are they helping her work her farm? If so, why isn't she listed as the primary person? Are they related to Rosanna? If so, how were they born in Illinois? At least one of Rosannah's brothers lived in Illinois.
