No, it doesn't list it as a location name also, it says it was near Confederate KY, however, I have a relative who has "Star Line Works" listed as his place of death. I imagine the community around the large companies referred to themselves as that area. the article does say that when Tennessee Rolling Mills was sold it contained a school, church and hundreds of little houses, so it does sound like it's own little community. It says in 1878 there were over 200 inhabitants, but as far as I know it wasn't an incorporated city, but it sure sounds like a community location. Continuing on in the article:...."at least 1,000 Negro slaves and 500-600 workers were employed at the Tennessee Rolling Mill during its operation. Hundreds of little houses stood on the hills around the mill, occupied by the workers and slaves...."
