Seeking information on parents of William Lafayette Campbell, born 1842-1844 Greene Co Illinois. Married Emily McElroy 1866 Lyon Co KY.

I believe his father to be J B Campbell since he is listed in the 1850 Crittenden Co KY census with J B Campbell and step-mother Aldula Peek. The 1860 Crittenden Co KY census shows William Lafayette Campbell as a laborer on the John & Elizabeth Hale farm.

J B Campbell was born about 1812 and died between 1852 & 1860. He married Aldula Peek/Peak as a second marriage in 1848, Scott Co IL. Aldula Peek later married George Baker.

J B Campbell had a first marriage with this son William Lafayette Campbell. I am looking for any information on this first family or J B Campbell.
