Stewart Knight Ham connection

Recently I found an online Marriage
record for John E Stewart and Mary Susan
Ham, the information presented indicated they were Married Nov.26,1877, by T H Leech, wittnesses were Doak Stewart & Martha Leech. I have for many years believed a Knight family ancestor was
married to Mary Susan Ham, around that time, either this is a different, Mary Susan Ham, or this Mary Susan Ham Stewart
was widowed or divorced from John E. Stewart.
I thought Richard Nelson Knight was
married to her. Does anyone know anything about John E Stewart and Mary
Susan Ham or Richard Nelson Knight who was B 1857, Livingston Co., Ky. The Marriage info for John & Mary Susan, was included on a list of
Marriages in Livingston or Crittenden
County possibly the Genweb site, for one of those two Counties.
If someone does know if she was Married
to both men, do you know the names
of the children she had by each of them.
I know Richard Nelson and his wife had
Cora and Robert Knight and possible other
children. They say on the census's I've
read, they were married once, I am very
confused now.
