I did mean Smithland. By finding Thomas Henry there in the 1840 census then my grandmother, her sister, and mother also there, without him in that household in 1850 census, I have to assume he may have died there sometime in that ten years. Other researchers say he was was born in Livingston Co 9/15/1803, so it appears he lived there all of his life, if we could find a death record on him. I have seen the census, what I am curious about is if marriage records that would connect Thomas Henry and Ann (I only know her married name, not her maiden name) exist. So death records and birth records are what I would need to connect these people.
