I have become confused with information pertaining to the family of James M. Driskill (born 2 October 1844) and his wife, Louisa Jane Ramage (9 April 1844-14 August 1918).
Records indicate that the following were children of James M. and Louisa Jane Ramage Driskill: John Freeman Driskill (21 September 1865-30 March 1922) married Sarah Ellen Heater (12 October 1858-3 March 1931); Archie S. Driskill (ca. 1868-28 February 1876); Amanda Driskill (February 1870-21 January 1961) married Hyland/Highland Bridges (11 February 1865-17 February 1926); Lacy Love Driskill (1871-9 February 1937) married Sallie Croxton (29 September 1875-27 November 1939); Samantha Casandra Vitula “Tula” Driskill (13 May 1876-26 May 1961) married Henry Jackson Henson (26 December 1868-22 July 1940).
My problem is that it has been said that the following might be children of James M. and Louisa Jane Ramage Driskill (but I can find no proof of this): Huey Calvin Driskill (7 January 1880-31 January 1950) married Sally Myrtle Pegrim (7 October 1882-1 February 1963); Lacy J. Driskill (25 April 1884-17 March 1976) married (1)Cora F. Duckett (December 1885-15 October 1910) on 17 March 1907 in Livingston County, Kentucky, and (2)Ferba E. Satterfield (13 September 1891-16 April 1958); Abbie Driskill (born ca. 1885) married ________ Stone (died before 1920); and Effie Driskill (26 March 1890-28 January 1983) married James Ernest Ringstaff (29 August 1886-19 August 1967).
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
