Here's the condensed version of what I have on my wife's great-grandfather. I would love to hear from anyone who might be able to tell me more about George and his family, especially who his parents were. Also wouldn't mind learning more about the Renick/Rennick family. 1880 Census McCracken Co., KY- George Walker, 24, living with Henry C. Renick(sp) family; George married Mattie Rennick, Henry's 2nd daughter 1900 Census McCracken Co., KY- George W. Walker 07/1855, KY, wife Mattie, children Cora, Bennie, Raymond Mattie died somewhere between 1900 and about 1907. George remarried about 1907, woman named "Lula". Both already had children from previous marriages. 1910 Census McCracken Co., KY- George Walker, 54, wife Lou E.(sp), children Bennie F., Raymond, Howard, A. Bell, Odell B. Note: Odell Bryan Walker died in MI, buried in Marshall Co., KY. Possibly b. 29 Dec 1909, d. 31 Aug 1990, according to SS death index. Married to Addie Womack (my wife remembers them well). 1920 Census Chickasaw Co., MS- George W. Walker, 64, wife Lula, children Purne or Prissy(sp?), Odell My wife's grandfather, James Euell Walker was born in Thorn, MS in 1929. At some point shortly after, George and family returned to KY, where he died in Marshall Co. 18 Feb 1930. It is possible George was in the 1860 Ballard Co., KY census, living with a Rudolph family in Lovelaceville precinct. I would love to be able to confirm this. Thanks.
