Am looking for info on Hodge Plantation that I believe to be around the Paducah, Ky area. William is said to have grown up around there and possibly been "farmed out".(White race) It is thought that there were 6 other siblings. At some point he went enlisted in the US Calvary in Chicago, Il. so possibly the family or just he moved there to Il.
