Thank You, Thank You!
I'm pretty convinced that Dorcas Knight Wilson
Vitmar is the Sister of my GGGgrandfather William Knight, both children of John and Jane Knight.

Found in Il. marriages::
Dien A. Knight married Zackins Wilson in Massac
Co., IL. in 1853. I think this might be
Dorcas Knights marriage.(my line> William Night married Delilah Vonn in Massac Co. in 1845, (both surnames were spelled wrong).
I also believe your Capt.James Wilson and
my Joseph Guess, both served in Col. Lytles
Regiment and also your Ancestors in Caswell
Co. married into the Taylor family as did
my 5th Grgrfather Joseph Guess who married
Constance Taylor in Caswell Co., N.C..
Your James Wilsons must be from the same Wilson
family that married into and came to Ky. with
the Guess family. It seems when you find people
living in the same area in those days, somehow they are all "Kin"!

Thanks Again
