Phyllis,
Although I am not a Wilson descendent, I
just wanted to mention the Guess family who
also came from Orange Co., N.C, part of
Orange Co., became Caswell and that is
where Joseph Guess Married Constance Taylor
abt. 1787. The Guess family was Married
into the Wilson family in N.C. and members
of those families along with many oters
came into middle Tn. early 1800s and then
into Caldwell County.
Have you come across a Dorcas.Darcas Knight
who married a ? Wison 1850-53. I think Dorcas
is the sister of my GGGgrandfather William
Knight. Darcas Knight Wilson Vitmar, age 49 is
listed on the 1880, Liv. Co., Ky. census
living with her husband Nicholas Vitmarand son
James R. Wilson 26 yrs, Hoping you may know
James fathers firstname and where he came
from.
Thanks
Sandy
