Searching for proof if John FERGUSON was father of William Thomas FERGUSON b. 1833 at Crab Orchard, Lincoln, KY. In 1830 census John Ferguson was only FERGUSON listed in Crab Orchard, KY. He and his wife were between 20 and 29 yrs old and had one daughter under 5 yrs. William T. FERGUSON married Mary Catherine DEBORD 28 Dec 1852 at Mt. Vernon, Rockcastle, KY. Have not been able to follow trail of John FERGUSON to find proof of who his wife was, or that he was father of William Thomas FERGUSON.

What town is County Seat of Lincoln County, KY? Leaving for KY on Aug 17th for a 10 day trip. Would like to try to find some of these answers while there.
