Creed Potter

Does anyone remember Creed and Ida Potter and her family from McRoberts, Ky.? Their children are Clark, Marty, David, Annette and Carlene. If anyone in here remembers us, I'd like to hear from you.

Our neighbors were Vick and Myrtle Potter and their kids were Louise, Vickie, Patsy, Betsy (Patsy & Betsy were twins I think) and Paul, Francis & Henry Helton, Coy and Elizabeth? (not sure of Coy's wife's name) Clark and their children Ronnie, Donnie, Jody and another daughter (can't remember her name), Cecil and Margie Bentley and lots of others.

We all lived in Sheas Fork or Cheese Fork (we called it Cheese Fork) where the coal companies built company houses for their employees. There was a store somewhere up the road that was run by Hershel Mullins? I think that was his name and the school we went to was down past what once was the ball park (I think they built a school in the ball park).

Some of my teachers in that school were Mrs. Davidson and Polly Kincer. We also went to intermediate school there but my youngest brother David and my sister Carlene and I were adopted and left there when we were all very young.

Sorry this is so long but I wanted to give as much information as possible. I don't remember too much about my dad and am hoping to find out more about him. I took back my father's name and am doing our genealogy. I have a lot of information on the Potters, Wrights, Reynolds, Fullers, Smiths and Combs.

Thanks in advance for any response from anyone.
Annette Potter
