Terry, My GG-grandfather John Quillen died in 1821 in Indiana.I have not been able to prove who his father was,I think it was one of the Teague Quillens.John was born in Russell or Scott Co.Va.He sold land there in 1810 also his brother William and a Teague Quillen.John I know lived in Ky.Most if not all of his children were born there.I think William lived there also. They both arrived in In.at the same time and homesteaded close together for awhile.John married Nancy Ann Wayland[I do not know if this was his frist wife or not]After John died she did not raise the children. The 5yr.old was raised by his brother William in Mont.County and did not know who his mother was.He died at age 90.The other kids had legal guardians after she remarried.John and William arrived in Indiana in1818 and settled in marshall.township Lawernce Co.IN.---Cherokee
