I viewed the Lether Co Ky records with interest. I am especially interestd in
the Cornett family.
Lee co va death records show Louisa Witt, wife of Martin Witt, died in 1860's was born Harlan Co Ky in 1830's. Her parents were James Osbourne and F. Cornett. A decendant did not know her parents, but said the first
Witt chidren were born in Letcher Co KY, so I assume Louisa came from there, and was married there. The marriage probably took place in Letcher county also before 1850.
I looked for F. Cornett in the Cornett cemetary, but could not find her. I would assume William Cornett line to be the oldest
Cornett line there, but I have no data to prove it.

Any Information, or leads, you have would be most welcome.
