I have a school picture taken in 1922 in Northcutts Cove, Warren Co, TN. This is called a subscription school, which was being held in the home of Vernon Northcutt while another school was being built. MALTA GARRISON was the teacher of the children, and there was a PAUL GARRISON and BURT GARRISON attending school also. I have found these people were from Bad Creek, KY. Malta's mother was Minnie and she, too, is listed in the 1920 Warren County, TN census. Can someone tell me more about the Garrison family and why they were in Northcutts Cove at this time?
