Matt,

Sorry for the delay in answering - my computer has been acting up. The 1900 Lawrence County, Kentucky Census shows Lindsey White in the East Fork, Bear Creek area. He is listed as being born in October, 1854 in Kentucky. Father born in Virginia and mother born in Kentucky. He has been married for 23 years to Mary, born September, 1857. Their children are Cora, born July, 1880, Bertha, born May, 1882, Keen (m), born January, 1884, Kate, born August, 1885, Labe (m), born November, 1887, and Lizzie, born September, 1898. In the 1860 Lawrence County Census there are 2 Whites listed who were born in Virginia and would be about the right age to be Lindsey's father, byt they don't have a Linsey listed in their household. Maybe he went by another name. Their names were William and Nelson. In the 1910 Census, Lindsey and Mary have Lizzie still in the household, along with a grandson, Chester Queen. At this time, it shows them being married for 35 years, so I guess they were married sometime between 1875 and 1877. I haven't found that record yet, but I'm still searching. Let me know if you know what Lindsey's full name was. Hope this helps.
