Nancy, I certainly thank you for the Graham marriages! What a wonderful surprise to find Hardin Graham m. Ellen Jordan - Graham brothers married Jordan sisters (Oliver P. Graham m. Elizabeth Jordan). And the other names of Carter, Webb, Large - it looks like a whole communtity of Lawrence Co., KY spouses made their way with the Grahams to central Arkansas (1870's). I'll see if I can find these surnames in the AR records - maybe they brought out their families. (AR counties: Faulkner, Van Buren, Cleburne and White.) I have no idea where my Grahams were from before they settled in Lawrence Co., KY. I see three Graham families in the 1850 census - James, Jesse and Benjamin (my line). They appear to be brothers, all born in KY (1806-1812). Later census records say the father was born in VA, but could certainly be WV - and the mother born in KY. Benjamin's death record reports his parents were Andrew and Lucinda Graham, but I haven't found those names anywhere. There was a James Graham in Lawrence County 1830, who would have been about the right age for a parent. So, I'm anxious to make some progress - I know a lot of the VA/WV Grahams are well documented if I can connect. Again, many thanks! Best regards, Randall Miller (Los Angeles)
