First of all I would like to thank you John Hibbits for replying to my message. as I stated befor Isaac j. Hicks is MY grand father My mothers father. I knew he had a half sister but the siblins I have for him are #1.Leander, #2.Isabell #3.Charles George #4.Joseph Henry #5.Elias (ELI).and #6. arie or Idabell. not sure about the name of the last one listed. My info. came from my aunt which at present time is in ill health. I have two aunts still living, one in Ohio and one in Indiana. My mother passed away 3 yr's ago.I know Allen Hicks is is my great grandfather his wife's name was RACHEL Weaver not Nancy. She was the daughter of Sara Ann Jackson and Russell Weaver.I will now tell you Of Allen Hicks, his father's name was also Allen Hicks his mother's name was Margaret (?)their children were #1.Allen #2.William J. #3.Jesse Caswell #4.Solomon #5.Joseph #6.Rebecca. THese children can be found In will book #1.page 59 thru 64 in the Laurel Co .court records.You are right about Isaac being married to Della Hampton the daughter of alice Barnett and George Hampton. My mother took care of grandpa Hampton thru his illness and death we actually lived with them for her to do this. You are also right about where they Isaac and Della , George Hampton Also my mother, father and brother and other family members are burried in the Snuffer cemetery Our uncle ELI gave 2 acres to extend this cemetery when he sold the ajoining farm to my grandmother Della Hicks but I beleive it was never added to the cemetery the people who bought the farm grandmother didn't want to let go of it. I have a copy of this deed. now to you'r gg grandfather you may be right Aunt Goldia said that there were a lot Cas Hicks in our family . and yes I was born,raised, and live in Laurel co.Ky. and I do thank you very much for the info. of Isaac Jackson Hicks accident.
