I am looking for Robert Bates (R.B.) Jacobs, b: 27 Apr 1885, d: Jan 1960; and his wife Sally Slone, b: 1 Mar 1898. He was from Knott Co, KY and assumed she was too. They were married on 1 Jun 1916 in KY. They had five children:
1. Manis Jacobs, b: 12 Nov 1920, Pippa Passes, KY; d: 26 Jun 1978, in Sacramento, CA.
2. Living Jacobs - female
3. Living Jacobs – female
4. Henry Bosh (H.B.) Jacobs, b: 19 Nov 1927; d: 13 Jan 1942. Birth / Death place unknown.
5. Living Jacobs – female
Manis had married Charlotte Dorsey, b: 4 Apr 1927, Nevinville, IA; d: 3 Jun 1994, Des Moines, IA; m: was stated as “never married” and “unknown” - don’t know if they were or not. Later, there was and still is a living a female Ringle whom they both have a living male Jacobs. This living male Jacobs is married to a living female Hill. No records of marriage date of Manis and Ringle. Later, he was with a still living Santos and again no marriage records but no children listed. Lastly, he was with and still is a living Beretta whom they both have a living male Jacobs.
I am searching for Sally’s line too. I know there are tons of Slones in the SE part of KY. I would also like to know more about Charlotte Dorsey if possible. Most of all I would like to know the living relatives. My mother is the last of her family line that is living. Her father, Pleas, is my grandfather and the brother of Robert Bates Jacobs. Robert would be my mother’s uncle and my g-uncle. Their children would be my mother’s 1st and 2nd cousins and my 2nd and 3rd cousins and would like to see them and especially for my mother to meet her living cousin, etc before she dies. I just recently found out this info on the Jacob’s line in my long time research. They may be living in KY or CA. Past relatives were not talked about back then.
Thank you for any of you that can help. If there are living relative that read this they or any can reply to my personal email: email@example.com.
