The information my mother has about her father is that he was a cabinet maker from Kentucky before becoming a soldier in WWII, and that he returned to KY after the war. Now, I got a hit on a Joseph Owens in Camp Nelson Nat'l Cemetary in Jessamine County, KY, but unfortunately the Army has incomplete records on personnel from the time period during which he served. (they were lost in a fire). I am wondering if anyone out there could provide me any information on this man, if this rings any bells. He may just be my grandfather & I'd love to find out & trace my history!
