Fred Parker, Clark Parker

Looking for information concerning the death of a Fred Parker (18-19 yrs old?), possibly some time during the 1940s in Jackson Co. Supposedly was shot during a card game. His father's name is believed to have been Clark Parker, high sheriff at the time of Jackson Co. Robert "Blue Buck" Robinson spent time in prison for this murder and was later released at the request of the Parker family who believed he was not guilty. Any info including dates, newspaper articles, obits, etc. much appreciated. Thank you.
