Newspaper? Jackson Times

Could someone please tell me if there was/is a newspaper in your county called The Jackson Times? I have a copy of a letter written by C. Groshon Gunn of Camp Zachary Taylor, KY to Mr. McCoy, editor of The Jackson Times, no state, city or county identified. The letter was written April 18, 1918 and Mr Gunn mentions "friends back there in the mountains", "Lees Institute Commencement", Mrs Blake who is a nurse, also names C W Hays, Lt Benedict, Doc Moorman, Auxier, and Marcum. Does any of this sound familiar? Do I have the right Jackson? Thank you, any help most appreciated.
