Looking for info on October 1907 murder of my g grandfather John Young Maxwell, who was 22 and was shot and left on railroad tracks. He left a young wife and daughter of only three months of age (my grandmother). Have never seen any record of this crime and it may still be unsolved. There is family story that he witnessed a crime and was being silenced, and that it may have involved the Sheriff.
