I only have 3 Wilson Co. TN genealogy books. An early marriage book, a Will Index, and a book of misc info.

No Flemings at all in the indexes of my books.

QUESTION
When did you John Roach, Jr. leave Wilson Co. TN, or when did he 1st have records in Hickman Co. KY????????
Send me some dates re your John - approx birth, etc.

There is more than 1 John Roach mentioned in my books.
Some John Roach's were in Wilson Co. TN in the 1830s and 1840s.

For example, in 1841, there was a Rev. John N. Roach, minister of Sugg's Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In the book, "Marriages of Wilson Co. TN, 1802-1850", by Edythe Rucker Whitley, the name John Roach is mentioned 3 times BEFORE 1820 (and several times after 1820)

The pre 1820 references are:

John Roach was the bondsman for the marriage of Beunajah (sic) Gray to Eloner Warnick March 1, 1808

John Roach was the bondsman for the marriage of William Smith and Betsey Givin Oct 7, 1814.

John Roach was married to Polly Kirkpatrick Aug 24, 1815 by Rev. David Foster, with Thomas Kirkpatrick as bondsman Aug 19, 1815
