Catherine/Catheryn Baldwin born abt 1798-1800 VA
married 15 Dec 1819 Warren Co NC Kenner Fowlkes
then went into Hickman Co KY.
She had a brother Saint Clair married Sarah
Maria "Sally" Pillar (Pillow), Kennon unk anything on this fellow, sisters Mary married
Charles Roach and sister Eliza married Wm Fleming
guardian Kenner Fowlkes her brother-in-law in 1834.
Was a Martha Baldwin in 1830 Hickman Co KY census index but not listed in the 1840. Did she
die after the census in 1830 but before 1840? Is
there a will or probate for her in the Co Clerks
Office?
What became of Kennon? Did he marry in VA and
stay in VA or did he come to KY as well? Not in
either 1830/1840 census index. Saint Claire in the 1840 but not in 1830, he married 1821 Amelia
Co VA.
Was Martha the mother of these children? Would
like to find copy of her will or probate possibly
listing children: Catheryn (Fowlkes), Mary (roach), Eliza (Fleming), Saint Clair, and Kennon.
Does anyone know if there were other brothers and sisters between Saint Clair, Kennon and ELiza
as she was born 1816, seems Kennon born between
1801 (when St Clair was born) and 1816 when Eliza
was born.
When Catheryn and Kenner married they were in Warren Co NC and bondsman was a Wm Tunstil/Tunstal, who was he? Was he related on the Baldwin side or on the mothers' side? Or was
he a friend of the court? Thanks so much for your help with my brick wall.
