Edmond Monroe b.1812 of KY and IN

I am trying to find the parents of Edmond Monroe (b.1812in KY) to be found in the 1840 census of Indiana, Jefferson Co., Graham Twp.
In 1850 I believe he was the Edward Monroe listed in Republican Twp of the same county.

The Monroes in that area of Indiana had previously been in Henry an
d Shelby counties.
