I'm afraid I can be of no help in the parentage of Amelia Williams. Edward Williams, father of Morris b.1791, served in the Rev War and would haven the right age in 1798 to father children. According to family lore, Edward served under General Francis Marion, "the swamp Fox", during the War. Also stare in family lore is that Edward was born in Wales.
