On August 11, 1809, Elizabeth Custer filed the lawsuit because James Miller went back on his promise to marry Elizabeth Custer. She already had two kids at the time. She moved over to Perry, Marion Co., Indiana in the fall of 1828 and died there on March 7, 1885. Would anyone know if Elizabeth Custer and James Miller married?
