John Adams/Elinor Taylor - late 1700's

I'm searching for information on John Adams and his wife, Elenor Taylor. They lived in Harrison County in the late 1700's and early 1800's. I know John was mentioned in tax records 1797-1800 but I haven't been able to get a copy. John died in 1820. The children I know of are:

Patsy (Collier), Levicia, Elizabeth (McNeese), Nancy, Amelia (Hix), Sarah (Swinford), Ann (Owings or Owens), James, John Jr.

Amelia was married to James Hix and they are my ggggrandparents. They were married in Wayne county in 1808.

Any information on John and Elinor or James and Amelia (Milly) would be appreciated.

Thanks, Susan
