Looking for information concerning the subject trooper who was a brother of Judith T. Hardin. Judith married Coleman W. York who served in the 7th Ky. Cavalry with John W. Hardin. John appeared in the court records as a deponent for Judith in her application for a pension based on her husband's, Coleman W. York, service in the 7th. He gave his address as Kelat, Harrison Co., Ky.

John W. Hardin also attended a Reunion of the 7th that was held in the Court House at Cincinnati, Ohio in September 1898. He gave his address as Kelat, Harrison Co., Ky. at that time.
