Hmmm.... this is interesting!
We have been researching a William Brown that married in Harrison co, KY in 1802. William and his family also moved to Wayne Co, IN, living near Jacksonburg by 1820. I wonder if William was related to your Polly/Mary Brown? William named his only daughter Mary Brown and she was known as Polly. He had sons named John, Milton, Thomas, and William.
Was your Mary/Polly Brown born in NC?
