The answer might be in the censuses! Thomas Whitledge, born 1788 to Capt. John Whitledge and Alcey Freetor, married Sara Jane Curry, born 1809 at Cynthiana, Harrison Co.KY. She was the daughter of John Curry according to his 1849 will.

In Harrison Co.1810 Census John Curry and Robert Curry were at #321. They were brothers, probably the sons of William Curry. (William and Andrew Curry were located nearby.)

In 1820 William Adams and John Curry were at #146.

In 1830 both William Adams, John Curry, and Thomas Whitledge were at Licking--Adams at #145 and John Curry and Thomas Whitledge at #148.

According to William Adams Sr's. Will probated July 1795 in Mercer Co.KY : his daughter Margaret married John Curry who was the "son of William" according to Wm. Adams Family History.

John Curry married the 51 year-old widow Margaret McClure in 1840 and is buried with her at Stonermouth Church in Bourbon Co.KY. She is not the mother of Sara Jane Curry, born 1809, but was Margaret Adams her mother?

I need to know when Margaret Adams Curry married John Curry and when she died!!!!!

The Whitledge Family is from Prince William and Stafford Cos.VA and Thomas and Sara Jane Curry Whitledge moved to Pike Co.MO

Any help appreciated, and am willing to share. Pat King
