I went to the USGENWEB/MD

then, I went to Worcester Co and did a statewide search for Fooks, More than 70 files came up mostly in Worcester, and Somerset Counties. Jesse (or Jessee) FOOKS showed up in the 1800 Federal Census pg0219a

I didn't check all the files but there were numerous FOOKS listed in the files that I did check.

Happy hunting. Please keep in touch because we descend from Zeporah FOOKS and Purnell TOADVINE.

There is a tree taking this line back numerous generations but I can't fine the URL. Maybe a search at familytreemaker.com will come up with it.
