I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON DELILA SEARS REYNOLDS GENTRY, Delila was the daughter of James Sears and Mary Ann Shelton Sears and born and raised in Whitley/Knox County. She was married to George Reynolds (married in 1891 in Knox County) who was the son of Benjamin Reynolds and Jane Mahan, Benjamin was first married to Rachel Martin Gatliff. George and Delila (she was also called Lila or Lilly) lived in Greasy Creek, Bell County in the years 1905 to 1920. George and Delila divorced in Bell County in 1920 and then she married Charlie Gentry in 1923, Her children were Mat, Lena Mae, Tennie, Marion, Noah, James, Steve, and Mary Jane. In the late 1920's it appears the family moved to Wise County VA. This is where I have found some of her children's marriage bonds.Noah is buried in the Gray Cemetery in Norton Wise County, VA. Mat is buried in the Banner Cemetery in Banner, Wise County VA. Her children were in the Wise County area in the late 1920's and early 30's. I am trying to find out where Delila is buried. She was my Great Aunt and I am desperately trying to find where she was buried. Thank you for any help, Pati Sears-Burnett. Call or write to me at. bclabbergirl@aol.com 352-425-4696 P.O.
