Hi,
My cousin gave me the directions, but said if you need them from a particular starting point, then let me know, and she'll re-do them. She also included the Liggett Church website, and there is a section about the church's history. The Photo page is still under construction.
I am going to take a trip there next Friday (June 27), if you would like to post the name, I would be more than happy to look for him, and take a picture of the tombstone if it is still there. Unfortunately, they couldn't locate my uncle, but I want to go anyway!

The Liggett Baptist Church is located at Liggett, Kentucky. From the 421 Bypass in Harlan, at traffic light No. 8 turn onto Ky 72 ( Catrons Creek Road), and travel for a distance of approximately 7 miles, The Church is on the left as the highway ends. I think Joe measured it as 6.1 miles.... and you will come to a guard shack on the left of the road and if you look beyond the guard shack you can't miss the church... go past the guard shack and turn left into the church yard.
