I am looking for information regarding the 1st wife of Stephen S. Jones, born 1793 in Harlan County and died October 28, 1888 in Carter County. His 2nd wife was Nancy Lansdown who he married in 1842 and his 3rd wife was Frances Kiser who he married between 1878 & 1880. His 1st wife would have been the mother of Hiram Jones, born in 1832 in Lawrence County and possibly Oratio Nelson Jones, born in 1823 in Ky. Hiram's Marriage Certificate does not name his parents but states that they were both born in Harlan County.

Oratio and his wife, Martha Glover Jones, are both buried in a plot with Hiram's family in the Old MacKoy Cemetery in Siloam. Ky., which leads me to believe they were related and possibly brothers.
