Father's 99th Birthday
Posted by: Pauline Hammond (ID *****8511) Date: May 18, 2007 at 18:35:16

My father, Madison Flake, was born in Greenup Co, Ky on June 18, 1908 and in the mid 1920's moved with his parents to Carter County. He went to Michigan in the 1930's to work in the logging camps and spent the rest of his life in Michigan. He still talks about Greenup and Carter counties and has told me countless stories about growing up there.

He will be 99 years old and I would like to give him a card shower. I was wondering if anyone in Greenup or Carter county or any other place would like to send him a card for his birthday. He doesn't get much mail anymore but sure loves it when he does.

If anyone is interested, email me at kalkaska43@yahoo.com and I will tell you where to send the card.

Thanking you in advance
Pauline Hammond
