Ratcliffs of Greenup County
Posted by: David De Witt (ID *****1995) Date: March 19, 2007 at 17:17:34

Researching the Ratcliff family of Greenup County. The name I am looking for is Clemon Cecil Ratcliff (b. 17 Jan 1890) and his son William Albert Ratcliff(b. 24 Apr 1912). I believe that Clemon C. Ratcliff is the son of Samuel and Sarah Ratcliff. Clemon supposely was married to a full-blooded Blackfoot indian as it was told. Clemon and William moved to Ohio to the Chillicothe area and William later on to Columbus, Ohio. Clemon and William are both interned at Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus (Franklin County), OH. Clemon d. 24 Jul 1978 in Chillicothe and William d. 1 Dec 1983, Columbus (Franklin County), OH. Any information about either of these two would be appreciated. I am mainly looking for the mother of William, wife of Clemon.
