Looking for information on a John O. Royal born in North Carolina. Came to Kentucky after 1863. In the 1870 census he was married to a woman named Ruth, but then the 1880 census shows a woman named Jeruthe. Both women were born in Kentucky. Can anyone tell me if these are the same women? Also I can't find a marriage record for him. Can anyone help me with this? I can't find a death on either of these women. John is listed in Lewis County as his death is in 1909, but she was not listed. Any information on either of these names would be greatly appreciated.
