John Allen, 65, age at first marriage 23, born VA, both parents born VA, farmer
Rachel, 58, age at first marriage 16, KY/Carolina/North Carolina
John A., son, 19, single, VA
Cecil, son, 16, VA
Ruth, adopted dau, 9, KY

If their son Cecil was born in Virginia about 1914 you probably won't find them in any other Kentucky census records since you already have them in 1920.

There are several John Allens show up in the Virginia census records at about age 15 but don't know which one is him.
