Elbert Grizzle and Ida Mae Grizzle

While looking through my boxes of Grizzell data, all of which is undocumented, looking for something else, I came upon two obits that were sent to my brother Willard. Upon Willard's death in 1985, they were given to my brother Estel--who sent them to me. Before I lose these obits again, I thought I would post them for your interest. I'm sorry but I don't have the dates they were put in the newspaper. Ida Mae Grizzel was our great aunt and the wife of Robert Grizzel who was brother to our grandfather John W. Grizzel; Elbert Grizzle was (I believe) our second or third cousin.

ELBERT GRIZZLE
Edgewater: Elbert Grizzle, 74, 1425 Needle Palm Drive, Florida Shores, a carman for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in Willard, Ohio, for 31 years before his retirement, died Thursday at Fish Memorial Hospital, New Smyrna Beach.
Mr. Grizzle was born in Oldtown, Kentucky and came here six years ago from Willard. He and his wife Mallie, observed their 53rd wedding anniversary last August.
Survivors other than his wife include a daughter, Dorothy Snipes, Shiloh, Ohio; a brother, Raymond, Connersville, Ind.: four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Dudley, Edgewater, is in charge.

Hope this helps someone. Phyllis
