Traylor's in Greenup Co., KY 1840s

Looking for info on the Traylor families that came from Bath Co., KY to Greenup Co. in the early 1840s. I'm trying to connect to my great-great grandfather, Nelson Traylor. Nelson was born 1832, Bath Co. Nelson's death certificate says his father was James Traylor, born in NC, but I believe this is a mistake and James was b abt. 1801, in SC. He then moved with his parents to Bath Co. abt. 1820, where James married Deborah "Dovey" Traylor, b. abt. 1806, NC, January 14, 1825, in Bath Co, James and Deborah then moved to Greenup Co. sometime in the early 1840s, and James most likely died there before 1849. Deborah remarried to Guyan Wilson before 1850, and she is listed in the 1850, Greenup Co. census, with her three Traylor children; Nancy E., John, and William Traylor, living in the Wilson household.

John Traylor, b. abt 1783, NC, and his wife Nancy (Unknown) Traylor, b. abt. 1797, NC, also are listed in the 1850, Greenup, census. I believe they are the parents of James Traylor and are Nelson's grandparents, but I haven't been able to make a connection to them. If John and Nancy are not James's parents, then I would like to find who his parents are. If they are his parents, I would like to know who John and Nancy's parents are. I also would like to know when John, Nancy, James, and Deborah died, and where they all are buried. I think that James and Deborah, also had two older sons, Ransom and Jesse Traylor, also living in Greenup, in 1850. There are some other Traylor's on the 1850, census and I know that they all have to be related someway, but I just haven't been able to make the connection. Any help or info on these Traylor families would be greatly appreciated. They are my brickwall!!! My E-mail is
