There is a DUZAN's connection on my husbands side. This is the only information I have. If you would be willing to fill in the blanks I would be grateful.

Peter Duzan, family came from Mason County around 1824 and settled at Grassy in the Tygart Valley. Peter Duzan carried the mail on horseback from Grassy to the nearest post office, which may have been Greenupsburg. He had a daughter, Rachel DUZAN who married Eli COOPER.

Eli and Rachel had three boys, that I know of, one of whom was Ransom. Ransom married Harriet POGUE.

Ransom and Harriet had eight children, that I know of, one of whom was Jennie Marie COOPER. Jennie married Ezra SMITH.

Jennie and Ezra had many children, one of whom was Corrinne Loth SMITH, b. April 29, 1905; d. June 8, 2000. Corrinne married Odiest RILEY on December 19, 1923. Odiest is the son of George RILEY and Martha HICKLE. Odiest was born February 2, 1892 and died February 7, 1966 in a railroad accident.

Corrinne and Odiest had four children, one of whom is Patricia RILEY, b. 1927. Patricia married William Donald McMAHAN on May 25, 1946. He is the son of Fred McMAHAN and Myrtle STAGGS.

Patricia is my husbands Grandmother.

That gives you an idea as to where we fit in to the family tree.

Joy
