Hi Eleanor, In regards to our Barney connection, Thomas,Sr., Squire & Benjamin were brothers. We have that in common. They lived in Greenup before 1823. Court records dated Jul 29, 1838 show Benjamin Franklin Barney as an heir to Squire Barney. Benjamin married Sitha Greenslate Jun 3,1827. She lived between 1810-1908. She is buried in Fairview Cemetry, Greenup. She married #2 John Jones. I have a History of Greenup County by Biggs & Mackoy which is very helpful in my research. I found Piety Riffe m. David Hamilton, but no Leath or Wm. Cooper I hope this is of some help to you. Regards, Hazel Mrazek
