The info I found was scarce but here goes. Wm Rice owned 3 lots in Greenupsburg in 1815. Jehu Rice was a County Court Justice sometime between 1804-1850. Geo. Rice was a deputy in 1862,1863 & 1864. Census for 1811 Lists James Rice, Thomas Wilson, and Alexander Wilson. There are no other Rices mentioned in the book. There are two Wilson families mentioned. The Jesse Wilson family came to Gonreenup Co. from Allegheny, Pa. in 1844, and the Robert Wilson family from Culpepper Co., Va. Neither David or Nancy Rice Wilson are mentioned, altho there is a Jesse D. Wilson named who died in 1845 his wife Susan Marie remarried a Jack Stewart who was a widower with a famoly of 10 children. it goes on and tells some more on who married who.
The Robert wilson married Mahala Van Meter they didn't come to
greenup until 1881. Let me know if you need more on either of the
wilson familys
