I just spent a couple of days in the Sullivan County, tennesse court House and Library, I found some there. The deeds books I wanted were there. The County Clerk had taken two books home with him the night that the Court House was burned during the war. The old Train Station has been made into a Historical Society and they had a lot of information on my families

At Least I found copies of the land Grant deeds I was searching for. I found three of my grandparents there It was worth the trip Everyone was so nice to me and my family there
The food in the town was really good and motels were nice
