Searching for the parents of Elijah and Harriett Skaggs. They were married in Green County, KY March 17, 1846. Permission was given by Matthew Skaggs? Neither are listed in Matthew's will, or any census I can locate.
Elijah Skaggs, b. Green County, Ky abt. 1824; d. Dec 2, 1863 Knoxville, TN of Typhoid Fever. 13th KY Volunteer Infantry (USA) Company H.
Harriett Skaggs, b. 1826 Green County, KY, d. Oct 3, 1878, Green County, KY.
