I am researching Jacob Bale who ran a mill early l800's and the mill site on Brush Creek in Green Co. Am interested in what was present at the mill site. Would like to know where the mill was--where the Bale cemetery might be--Brush Creek church history--and anything regarding the Bales. Jacob Bale's son, Jacob, came to Menard County Illinois and ran a grist and saw mill here also. Am heading south soon to research and would appreciate a heads-up on where I might best spend my time.
