I find an Elijah KIRTLEY who had a female children 1/13/1862 and his wife's name was S. J. Chaudoin.

There is a John KIRTLEY of Barren Co that sold land to William BUFORD of Woodford Co KY. John's father was listed as Thomas KIRTLEY deceased of Madison Co VA.

I hope this info is helpful. I am not researching these lines and have no further data to share.
